The Seeker
Created during a one-month invited residency at the Buffalo Creek Art Center in Gardnerville, Nevada, The Seeker stands as a monumental expression of form and spirit. Rising over 15 feet tall, the sculpture is composed of meticulously hand-formed ½-inch steel rods, each individually shaped, placed, and welded to build the figure’s structure.
The work captures a striking contrapposto stance, the figure reaching upward toward an ethereal hand. As described by the artist, The Seeker reflects a culmination of four years of personal thoughts, emotions, and spiritual experiences. Finished with a weathered bronze patina, the sculpture evokes both strength and transcendence.
Installed in August 2025, The Seeker now resides permanently within the Buffalo Creek Art Center Sculpture Park, where it continues to inspire and engage visitors.
